Barn Wood and Horseshoe Bench

Originally part of a load bearing beam in the barn, this six-foot section of wood served as a workspace in the grain room for many years. The hidden nails, holes, and damage from long ago are a reminder that time moves slower if you know where to look. Paired with used horseshoes and scrap metal from the shop, this old barn wood takes on a new purpose. Hours of sanding, polishing, cutting, and welding result in this wonderful bench with a history of its own.
